Hi all,

I’m a few weeks into the high-volume traditional base phase.

Noticed a lot of the endurance work outs say “X workout is primarily aimed at building aerobic power & efficiency by improving your ability to metabolize fat at higher power outputs while sparing sugar in the process.”

Does this mean we’re supposed to do these rides fasted?

Can someone help clarify?


No it does not.

People have different approaches but the the workout will have the prescribed benefits, whether fasted or not.

Whether you decide to do them fasted is up to you.
