Early Access to iOS Beta: Updated TrainerRoad

If you’re willing, we think there’s a database issue going on which might be fixed if you delete TrainerRoad entirely from your phone and reinstall a “fresh” copy of it. Would you let me know how that goes once you’ve been able to give it a shot?

Tried this, and it worked perfectly. 91929 ran entire workout with devices connected perfectly after a reinstall.

Hopefully confirms your theory, and gives a simple solution to anyone else that might experience the same issue.

I did Ericsson today and dropped bluetooth connection with my Assioma Duel Sided power pedals on an H3 using a Iphone XR

Thank you everyone for the rides and reports! We have another version that just got released. :raised_hands:

This one had some nice usability improvements and a ton of progress on ANT+ behind the scenes. If you have been waiting for ANT+ to test out the new iOS app, please shoot me a message and I’ll get you on the list for the first batch of athletes we enable it for.

In this version we have made the following fixes or improvements
• Added new navigation to Plan Builder
• Fixed a problem where HR monitors could unpair during workouts
• Fixed a problem where scrolling dead spots could occur
• Fixed a problem where selecting from the Virtual Power list could cause a crash
• Fixed a problem where the power line could start blinking in the Workout Player

All right installed this again for the first time In the last 10 versions. Fingers crossed it works out well this time. Keep up the good work.

For the ant+ do you mean have the wahoo key attached to your phone?

@Pete downloaded and went into plan builder as I was going to add one after the holidays. No hours or TSS for any plans. Only if this was that easy of a workout. A few examples.

Going to test it tomorrow with Andrews (1:30).

Add me to the list if this supports Wahoo ANT+ 30-pin with Apples 30 to lightning adapter (iPhone SE 2020).

I have a potential bug, although the problem could lie with my power meter. During high-cadence drills, my power numbers were no longer recorded (i. e. TR displays —). Granted, this happened at cadences north of 160 rpm, so this could by my 4iiii power meter just being like :man_shrugging: But perhaps TR is filtering out improbable/inconsistent data.

In any case, no biggie, it isn’t as if I spend more than 10 seconds at 160+ rpm anyway.

Came back today and now it wasn’t displaying HR at all, even though the HRM was connected to the app.

Found a random bug when updating today’s workout (run). Went in to change the notes then hit save, the save button grayed but nothing else happened. Hit the back button and went to flip it from scheduled to completed but the toggle wouldn’t work. It would slide across then pop back to the left.

Closed out app and restarted, run showed as completed.

No problems with my workout today via Iphone 8. I did pause and get back on and connection stayed. I added my run via the app and no problems for me either except not knowing how to mark it complete.

To be honest this title scheduled for me does not scream “press button” to mark as complete but maybe it is just me. Here is a test screen shot showing what I mean.

Also I know this is nit picking but it would be nice if possible to display the TSS the way it is on the web (IE: broken out)

@Pete did boarstone today on my iPhone. When I answered a phone calm I got a message that TR crashed. The. Switched to running the workout on my iPad and no problems for the remaining 1:40 min. You can see both rides on my profile.

Did Whorl today and all good. I used my phone and 15 min in I had to run and errand so took my phone, came back 1 hour later, got back on the trainer and continued the workout.

It did upload my 15 min but I guess that is normal being gone that long. After I continued the workout and re-synced it came through at 1:15 as intended. Very nice.

Another no issue ride (jepson) on my iPad today using the new version.

Hello - I’m on the latest beta build, as well latest released iOS version on an iPhone 11 Pro. That said, I’ve seen this a while but keep forgetting to mention it.

In short, the “end time” is always an hour behind. In this example it happens to be a 90 minute workout, but if it’s a 45 minute workout it’s like going back in time.

My phone is set for auto time (and just reconfirmed it), in my case it automatically determined my time zone as “Amsterdam” according to iOS, which is correct.

Pic attached.

Hi! With my last workout; some of the summary stats were displayed incorrectly. Two things happened during the workout which may have been contributing factors: 1) I skipped several minutes of the warmup; 2) at the very end of the workout, somehow; my finger caused the workout cursor to jump back to earlier in the workout; I canceled this operation before saving the workout:

On the calendar, the stats were displayed incorrectly until I reload the app, after which they were correct.

I think I’ve proved this isn’t a TR issue. I tried using another app and it connects to my HRM but displays no information.

@Pete Error in the end time of workout and time it said I was going to end. I am on vacation visiting my brother where the time zone is 2 hours behind. My phone updated the time zone but as you can see the app did not.

I know this probably won’t happen much for me as I don’t travel for work anymore but others that do travel for work it would

Couple of screen shots during and after completion.

DId Mills today on Iphone 11pro in Erg mode with a Tacx Neo2. A few seconds prior to the interval power gets very easy. Not sure if this to facilitate a higher cadence or why but it is too easy. Interval starts and it feels like it is taking some time to get up to power. There are nine intervals and each interval seemed to be a bit different in time taken to get to target but power is all light for the first few seconds.

Anyone else not able to drag the days prior to adding a plan?? I am trying to add TB MV3 via the app and cannot move the days around.

Guess I will do it online.
