Just admit it. Its more a case that Technology hates you!
Should say Bluetooth!
ANT+ is designed for our sensors… its the better Technology!

Friend (Campa fanboy) keeps reminding me (Shimano fanboy) that Shimano is only good for fishing.
Having a laugh about it for over a decade now. ![]()
Here are some of the masterpieces he send me lately:
*Dutch fish shopIf you’ve ever ridden a bike path…
I’ve got about 70% of those on my check-list.
The best ones are the swath of slow moving seniors strung out across the entire path, who then give you hell for not having a bell.
And then there’s the headphone/earbud crowd who walk/meander right in the middle. Doesn’t matter how loud you shout or how much you ring that bell, they’re not going to hear you. But they make sure to shout at you when they get startled as you pass them.
She forgot to include dogs and strollers.
Always entertaining.
I don’t ride bike paths so not much of a problem but I run into headphone people on the MTB trails all the time. No matter how close I get or how loud I yell they can’t hear, until my front tire catches their shoe
I ride bike paths often and the weirdest experience I had was last year. Jogger with earbuds in was up ahead, I call out “on your left” and pass on his left. One second later I hear him scream “A LITTLE NOTICE WOULD BE NICE”. I yell back “I DID!” That whole change made me angrier than it should have.
On your defence, you did give him “a little” notice, as per his request. ![]()
I’ve seen or be all of them, except the diver
I stop running with music long ago. And one of the reason is that I learned how annoying can a runner with earbuds can be on the trail. I’ve been that runner. So I learned and now I try to do better.
As I tell all my running friends… cyclist are aholes
And as I tell my cyclist friends… Runners are aholes.
Hahaha, true. Runners with earbuds never really bother me, in fact when I run (very rarely) I usually have them in too. I just stay to the right and don’t get overly offended if something passing quickly on the left catches me by surprise.

A horse has a FTP of 735.5 watts… imagine a horse riding a bike.
Instead, Watt designated horsepower to be equivalent to the amount of power that a horse can sustain for an extended period of time.
That’s the Como Bridge shared path. I ride there on almost daily basis. It gets very very busy on weekends with people walking dogs, kids on bikes, etc.

Someone needs to practice more on their bike handling.
Even better than the hub rattle is the carbon rim braking.
Coworker: so what did you guys all do last night after work?
Me: only had enough time to ride 20 miles by the time I got home
I used to get the same reaction when i would say… “I had an easy 10 mile run this morning”
This is still an oxymoron to me. I’ll take the easy 50mi ride instead. ![]()
