You just had to put the teeth in the right place, and build up callouses that helped survive them, and have parents that believe in vaccines (Tetanus for one!). I hated to admit to the momster that wearing shoes was a good thing! Having them bite the lower legs was just bad luck. I’m sure some legs out there have permanent bone damage from those things!
The shop I worked at ‘refused’ to touch cottered cranks (yet had a box full of various pins). I did try to fix one, and we didn’t have any pins that fit it. (Looking for cotter pins with longer threads was like looking for needles in hay stacks)
A cassette for those that complain there’s too big of jumps between gears and they can’t find their ideal cadence. This new cassette has 0.01 step increases.

Also, Healy gets really “small” on the bike with very aero position. I remember hearing Dylan Van Baarle commenting for Eurosport one time this spring that couple of years ago he was in a break away with 4 other people and Healy at a race and him and those 4 other guys spent about 20km fighting among each other, not to be directly behind Healy as they were getting no draft benefit
