Not really a meme or a joke, but…
We just got back from a week at Disney World/Universal, so I haven’t paid any attention to cycling news in that time. After getting home and settled in last night, I checked Facebook and kind of mumbled out loud to myself/my wife, “Oh yeah, Cape Epic started this weekend.” However, instead of “Cape Epic,” she heard, “Kidnapping.” So, be careful what you mumble.

And when I read the report that all the doping LA did, did not give him a boost. So why do it? Placebo effect? I mean, don’t count out the power of that gray mush in the brain bucket, but if it carries a lot of badness, why do it?

I read a medical report that showed that the use of some supplements didn’t provide enough of a boost to make it worth doing it. Interesting, never heard of it before, but why would I, report by the USADA on Armstrong and his and their actions to hide the illegal drug use.
And EPO does not help with performance.
So maybe the joke here is the reliance on illegal drugs and the felling of being a ‘bad boy’ helped him more than the drugs themselves. Well, joke or irony…
