Oh dude… I feel this one so much. I mostly ride road, so I’m a mediocre MTBr at best, so whenever I go out with my good MTBr friends, I’m always on edge.
I’m embarrassed descending on the road with those guys. Usually my (bad) excuse is that I’m near half the weight of most of the guys I ride with, but one of our local women’s MTB champs wouldn’t have much more than 10kg on me and still manages to destroy us all.

Kids on my youth team were asking for fueling guidance for a distance event. I shared this. I relate exceptionally well to the youth of today.
If you put an unwrapped bar of chocolate in your back pocket you can make them just like it shows on the package.
