I mean, I lost a piece of my eaves/fascia today, but it would have been worth it if ANY of the segments in my neck of the woods ran diagonally SW->NE… 52f with sustained 40mph tailwinds plus gusts (70 confirmed in my area) would be kind of a big deal.

Looking at the survey results, I think this meme is backwards
Lol! You’re right. I was thinking of the yearly survey they did a few months ago! ![]()
49" of powder snow on the mountain in last week here in Bend, OR and several inches in town too so… I’m back to skiing and that 3h endurance ride outside will be in May??
Dang, you all got blasted there too. ![]()
Me, too heavy on my Zipps.
Florida is so flat…
I did a 90 minute sweet spot workout outdoors on Saturday. Total time about 1:50, total distance 53.2km (yes I run my bike in metric – ~33 miles), total elevation <70 meters, which makes grade about 0.13%.
I always question the elevation. The data shows different elevations for different laps of the same stretch of road, so barometer changes are in play. But the only real elevation differences are about what you’d expect for drainage on a road, so not way off.
except in Clermont… That place is not flat…
What is this metric system you are referring to?
It is the system of measurements used everywhere on the planet with the exception of three backward-ass countries.

Go check any of the scientific papers written by any of those Nobel prize winners, and let us know what measurement system they used. We’ll wait.
Whatever. Come talk to me when your FTP is over 221 ftlbf/sec.
That’s not even that impressive when scaled for population
