Guessing that the most important thing is to be consistent with how you rate, but curious how your criteria lines up with mine
10/10 work to failure, ie ramp test or sprint at the end of a race
9/10 just held on, didn’t think I would make it
8/10 went into the last couple sets not sure I would make it, but finished with something left in the tank
7/10 finishing was never a doubt but glad it’s over
6/10 started to get uncomfortable at the end
5/10 solid effort but will forget about it once I’m off the bike
4/10 Could have doubled the workout length and finished
3/10 fighting boredom more than fatigue
2/10 mostly thought about work/errands
1/10 recovery ride

Oh Number 3, I’ve felt this many times, makes endurance workouts feel harder than they should be.

In Zwift I just use the TR 5 zone chart and go with the higher or lower of the 2 depending on RPE.

If the 1-10 scale is confusing for anyone doing TR workouts in Zwift, don’t forget that you can do the surveys in TR afterward instead.

Great point regarding just doing the ratings in TR
But why are you guys reluctant to be transparent and just publish how Zwift 10 point scale ratings convert to the TR 5 point ratings?
I’m guessing it would be something like this (borrowed @adiallo ‘s zwift descriptions)
*I have not checked these convertions as I dont do my workouts in zwift….

Thanks for replying @eddie . I get that, but for me, logging it in Zwift is a chance to rate how I feel immediately after I stop pedaling. My ego will dial down the PE in the time it takes to towel down, shower and log into TR .

Isn’t that the truth
It’s bad enough waiting until the end of the workout.
The last second of the last interval I could be dying but 3mins of cool down later and I’m like “meh - moderate”
