Make sure you look through all your kits because it may not be up top or even labeled as “new”. You may need to scroll down to find it.
If that doesn’t work, disconnect both apps and then reconnect them. That seems to work.

Too soon?
Cost is what it is. Value is subjective. And it’s value that people will rarely ever agree on.
Give the developers a big fat bonus! Integration is phenomenal. Workout showed up in Zwift right where it was supposed to be. I liked the lit arches that show the beginning and end of the interval. Gives something to focus on other than the clock. I had a workout with a ton of little intervals. Having some kind of set / rep counter would be handy if I am offering feedback. I like how I could just keep riding at end of prescribed workout and the extra time rolls into the TR workout. Also like how you select the workout and then get suggested routes to drop into. I feel like both my trainer road and Zwift subscriptions are far more valuable with this combo.
What some of us have found in this scenario is to unplug your trainer and plug it back in. Perhaps a disconnect and reconnect could work just as well?
I had to scroll down quite a ways to find the trainerroad kit in my garage but it was there. I also noticed the same power target discrepancy between Zwift on my apple tv and the companion app.
Some things I miss about using the TR app vs the Zwift integrated method is not seeing the TR Workout image in my calendar post workout. Another thing is during the workout I get a quick interval summary showing average power, heart rate and cadence in the TR app. Not a big deal but I like knowing that I haven’t strayed too far from the target at the end of the intervals.
We’re working on the thumbnails!
Thanks for the reply. Aside from missing those things the integration worked flawlessly for me for my threshold workout today. One thing I did notice since my last post was that the elevation information from the ride in TrainerRoad doesn’t match what the summary shows in Zwift. Maybe a glitch? Very insignificant in the larger picture but thought I’d point it out.
Did my first integrated workout today and everything worked great. I do hope the gang at TR gets some influence over the Zwift workout HUD. For starters I’d suggest replacing the intensity bar at the bottom with a graphical view of the entire workout along with your progress. I can’t really figure out the purpose of the bar as is in a workout. Seeing what I did 2-3 minutes ago doesn’t really add anything.
It’s on the companion app workout tab. Just put that on screen and you’d be good to go.
Will the pre workout survey come to Zwift? I kind of like those.
I’m one that loves TR Extended Warmup and Cooldown function, will this ever be possible to have in Zwift?
How can my power output be this consistent in ERG mode? It matches the power target exactly. This is a 10-minute interval …
I paired my devices as follows:
Power Source: Quarq power meter
Resistance: Wahoo Kickr
Otherwise, very cool feature.
I’m not sure about the warm up part, but for the cooldown you just keep riding after the last interval. The entire session plus any riding after the workout will get sent back to TR once you end the session.
That looks like kickr erg mode smoothing to me which would only happen if the power was coming from your kickr and not your quarq - so double check that the quark is selected as the power source in Zwift.
Can you free ride in Zwift then pick your workout? You can for Zwift workouts but not sure how posting back to TR would work
I noticed this, and posted about it on the Zwift forum.
I presume it’s a Zwift Companion issue rather than anything TR can fix.
Yay!! This is exciting!
So… I connected Zwift to my TR account but I can’t seem to find my TR workouts in the “For You” section. The two accounts seem to be connected because I can see the TR jersey in my garage.
What am I missing here?
Usually a Zwift session other than workouts is broken in many activities, e.g. warmup, race, cool down…so you end up with many separated Zwift files. I like double recording all these activities in a single Garmin .fit file and download this file containing all the session to TR rather than the multiple Zwift files.
You need to go to workouts, then custom workouts and there should be a fold towards the top of the screen with TrainerRoad on it, you’ll find them in there. I find the ‘For You’ bar doesn’t always show your scheduled workouts for some reason.
