XT stages crank arm rubbing my Yeti frame...Solutions?

I finally got a stages power meter for my XC bike, and have been running it for a few weeks but its rubbed through the chainstay on my Yeti SB115. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I just space it out or is it just incompatible with the frame?

If the preload is correct, you can’t just add more spacers. If you have any spacers on your drive side you can move them to the non-drive side as long as you have enough chainring clearance on the stay. It will mess up your chain line slightly though (assuming it’s correct now.)

Thanks for your reply

There’s currently no spacers, its a press fit BB

Bike shop was open late, because they are brilliant

So we now have two spacers

You can do that??

Apparently so. They are more like two shims than the kind of spacers you get with an external BB.

Seems to be working anyway :crossed_fingers:
