Workout complete, but TR didn’t register it

Today I completed a workout which had no issues. Until I completed it and did the survey. It then asked why I didn’t finish the workout, (but I did).

When looking back at it, the workout had stopped half way through. Then didn’t restart.
This would have increased my Sweet spot progress level by +0.2. TSS will now also be off.

To maintain the continuity of the training plan and machine learning, what can I do to bump that progression level to where it should be???

I think you can toggle it to an outside workout and mark it as complete to maintain PL progress but TR Support probably know a better way, drop them a line support@trainerroad.com

Which workout are you referencing?

I don’t see any workout data in your account from today, and there isn’t any log data either.. :thinking:

It looksl ike you have Redondo-3 scheduled for today as both an indoor and an outside workout. How did you attempt the workout?

Also, what happened when the workout stopped? If you didn’t complete the second half of the workout, that’s likely why you got a “cut-short” survey.

Could you log out and back into the app? I want to see if any other ride logs push over to the servers.

I was meant to be doing Redondo-3 (indoor) which i did all the way through. My devastation of seeing it half completed led me to just delete it… I did the workout indoor on my turbo using my Mac. In my head I figured if i deleted it, then added it back as an outdoor ride and marked it as complete, maybe the sweetspot progress levels would bump up to 6.1. But no luck, and i understand why to be fair. Are there any deleted back logs?

I have now logged off the app from my mac and phone. Nothing seems to have pushed to any of my other apps (strava/garmin/TP)

The workout is set to auto-start on pedalling so ought to have remained connected. I didnt stop the workout manually or otherwise.

Hi HLaB. That was the first thing i tried yet the PL didn’t adjust. Hopefully TR have a solution

I’m glad things ended up working out!

I’d recommend keeping an eye on your workouts as you progress through them to ensure that things are working properly throughout. You can minimize the TR window and still see your progression in the workout.

If all else fails, reach out to us before you delete the workout, too. There might be something we can do to help out! :technologist:
