Someone had a post on here that I can’t find about fast twitch riders and training on TR. It’s probably relevant to you.
Don’t do the plans, they’ll destroy you. Use Train Now and focus on Endurance, Tempo and Sweet Spot. Throw in a bit of Threshold and see how you go. 2-3 times per week and gauge how you are recovering.
Sweet spot is base training and not designed to increase your ftp….if you had done build I’m sure you would have seen the same gains you saw doing polarized workouts.

TR specifically calls out FTP gains, [plus this comment from Coach Chad], and many users have shared positive FTP gain from SSB.
As ever, experiences can vary and we know that not everyone will get the same results. But FTP gains in SSB are a real thing, from targeted intent if you believe the TR info.
I guess my point was comparing ssb to polarized training is pretty apples and oranges.
Sure, comparing different protocols is tricky.

Thats also my line of work, but strangely I’ve never ‘clicked’ with another ‘business’ coach but have had success with cycling coaches!
