What to do when currrent plan ends

I am on a low volume masters Grand Fondo plan, aiming to restore fitness for next year after 2 poor years. The plan will time out 2nd week January. I don’t plan going out on the roads until March, so another 6 weeks indoors on TR is to be planned. How do I configure that please? Will the software work it for me?

Otherwise I’m tempted to increase to 5 days a week of mixed sweetspot and endurance workouts.

You will have to add it manually to the Calendar, like you did the current training plan, if you’d like to keep training after this one ends.

Are you planning on completing any events/races? I ask this because you can build a plan leading up to your event.

If not, when your current plan ends, you can start another plan, but make it longer than 3 months as you’re aiming to restore fitness for the next year. Since you will be taking your training outdoors in March, you can easily switch workouts to be completed Outside or even change them to Solo/Group Rides.

No races planned, I just want to get back to longer rides at a reasonable pace, maybe a sportive or 2. Routine 40 mile rides and some at 50 to 60 miles, as I used to, is the target. I would like to be back at 40 miles in March. Last couple of years were bad to me and I only did shorter rides. Should add, at 69 I don’t recover as well as I used to, hence lower volume.
