Trying to fit in two sweet spot workouts, one endurance ride and two gym workouts in before the weekend, which just leaves Leconte, before a recovery week of Z2 rides to round off SSBLV1. Can’t wait!

Brasstown! 1.5 hours of endurance. Hopefully Santa brings me something to entertain myself.

I have a group ride in the calendar… :joy: I haven’t updated my plan to accommodate the festive season yet… but I have been asked by my (very supportive) wife if I want to go out to ride Xmas morning still - i’m now canvasing my club mates to see if anyone else is in the same boat :slight_smile:

Either way a workout of sorts will be done I’m sure.

Cheaha+1. Going to do it outside ,as my tradition on Christmas day is to drive up to the Berkshire downs and do a long mtb ride taking a picnic. For those from elsewhere, it is a beautiful area of the Southern UK.
Cant go too hard as got races Boxing day and Tuesday :snowman_with_snow: :snowman_with_snow: :santa:

Ticked off Starlight -2 this morning. Warmed up, did stocking presents with the kids and then did the rest. Felt tough after a Festive 5k run yesterday!

Reinstein 3 x 12 minute over under intervals alternating between 2 min at 95% FTP and 1 minute at 105% FTP with 10!! minute active recoveries (1.5 hours in total). Good day to one and all. :evergreen_tree: :snowflake:

I may have the most on the nose workout. I’m in recovery week and have a 2hr z2 workout called Gabriel today, which of course has that Xmas connection with the angel. Also happens to be my child’s name

Santa punished me this morning, bringing me 1:30 of Stretch Threshold… Cloudripper -2… in the first week of my new block after registering an 8% gain on my FTP. I did complete it- but I spent the entire time contemplating my mortality. Ego death is a beautiful gift.

Garrowby +7 is a 4x18-minute segmented Sweet Spot workout. Each set consists of 5x3-4 minutes spent between 88-94% FTP.

Recoveries between each short repeat are 1 minute long, and recoveries between each set of repeats are 4 minutes long.

Did Round Bald +3. 4x20 min. of sweet spot. Had to break the intervals into fractions to get through it mentally.
