Washed once a week with the regular laundry, so not gross at all.
Considering I only need to do the double/swap on very rare occasions, I wear each one maybe twice between washes.

I use the Halo Bandit headband indoors. You get the benefit of the halo strip to keep sweat off your glasses, plus the wider band soaks up more sweat, yet having a hole on top keeps it from becoming overly hot like a hat.
I use a cycling cap that I’ve cut the top out so it’s just like a sweat band, but the nice cycling cap material. Best of both worlds.
Yeah, the Halo was a game changer for me.
This just gave me an idea for a double-sided, double-use chamois.

I’m thinking, “Bogo Ride Apparel Inc”. BRA for short.

Wear it with pride!
For me the key was moving to the larger Bandit and not the original halo size. Having said that, I live in VERY high humidity. I’m sweating during the warmup.
Same here. Atlantic coast, humidity is higher than an Asian jungle
Yes I wear a cycling cap combined with a rolled up bandana I use as a sweatband. When the workout is over they are both typically dripping especially the bandana. I definitely don’t want that in my eyes.
when I’m outdoors I typically wear a cap or skull cap under my helmet, once in a while I regret not having a a headband on – typically hot days or warm days with climbs.
I started using a cycling cap under my helmet last year, after my head was stung by a bee. The bee went into my front helmet vent hole when I was riding and stung my head.
That happened to me on Saturday…was only ~halfway into a 110 mile gravel ride. ![]()
LOL hair flopping into my eyes is no longer a problem for me – even after going nearly six months w/o a haircut or trim!
Absolutely, especially as the intensity goes up. I get off of the bike after big efforts and anything I wearing on my head varies from sopped to wet. Even with a cap and bandana I’m getting “aero” to keep my head in the direct path of the fan breeze – usually need to do a funny tilt too so the air gets under my glasses.
I keep a microfiber towel on my laptop stand. During rest intervals, I roll my headband in the towel to dry it (like bibs in a hotel room). If I didn’t, I’d have sweat dripping on my glasses every ride.
Sweatbands are essential, I usually use 1 per hour when I am on the trainer as I find they get saturated after about 60 mins. Along with 2 fans I never see any sweat hit the ground.
