Running until the end of August. Plantar fasciitis forced me to buy a trainer and get into cycling. For the past few weeks I was able to mix in some runs again.

Every year I burn out in February. I never fully understood why. Let’s see if I can avoid it in 2023.

@TQuass am I reading this right? You rode every single day of 2022? Holy hell.

@Cory.Rood Looks like I have a pretty similar thing going on. When you do one epic ride, it ruins all the charts as it dwarfs everything else:

If I would bother to include all my little commutes, that would probably add another 500…1000 km over the year as it’s my main mode of transportation. Another thing that considerably brought down the number of rides was that I spent January-February almost exclusively skiing.

Just gotta do more big rides! that’s my plan for 2023

Yep, that was a goal of mine for 2022 - to at least do something on my bike every single day. A handful of 30 minute workouts/rides in there some days, but was really just trying to up the volume last year. Also, living in Arizona helps weather-wise being able to get on the bike everyday.

Awesome. I tried riding outside everyday in 2013 but only managed 364. It snowed one day and I cycled no problem but the drivers were all over the place (in less than an inch of snow  ) so I never the day after and walked. Back home we get a foot of snow before it was problematic and other countries several feet more again
