Since there won’t be any races this year, basically there is no way for me to put the fitness I have gained to good use. I have a vacation coming up, but obviously I won’t be going anywhere. But nevertheless, I’d like to go on some solo rides during one week.
So my idea is to complete the current training block (Build, next up is Specialty) up until just before rest week, push rest week by a week and do some outdoor rides during that week. Does that sound sensible? I fully expect to accumulate quite a few TSS, so I thought doing that just before a rest week should be perfect. Nevertheless, I wanted to ask all of you whether this is sensible or if you’d do it differently.
