Some athletes recently experienced issues with the app failing to load or getting stuck on a loading screen on Apple devices. We believe we’ve identified the cause: a recent iOS update (26.4) introduced a conflict with how our servers deliver content to your device. Essentially, your iPhone/ iPad and our servers were disagreeing on how to talk to each other, which caused connections to stall out.
What we did: We pushed a server-side fix that routes around the problematic connection method for athletes on iOS devices. This is already live and no app update is needed on your end.
What you might need to do: Your device could still be hanging onto a stalled connection from before the fix. If you’re still seeing loading issues:
Force-close the app (swipe up from the bottom of your screen and flick the app away).
Re-open it.
If this still doesn’t work, try restarting your device.
Please let us know if you experience any lingering issues. Our engineers are adding additional fixes to prevent this from happening again, as well as to help identify and resolve any lingering symptoms.
Above all, sorry about the disruption. We really appreciate your patience while we worked this out!
Update: The additional fix required for iPads has deployed and should now resolve the issue for athletes on these devices. Some of the lingering iPhone issues reported earlier in this thread should be resolved by this as well.
Hi @eddie and @SeanHurley - it seems to be loading fine right now. It was random before when it would and would not open, so I’ll come back if it happens again.
