Training plan after illness

I’ve had a week off due to foot pain, and hope to soon start training again. I blocked out the week with “injury” but TR has me training on first day back with VO2 max … should it not be giving me an endurance ride or something? I can of course manually change things, but I am surprised it is not more “intelligent” especially with the new AI features.

Why? It doesn’t know what your illness was and assumes you are well enough to be training, no need to pre-train for training. If you don’t feel well enough, then override.

The type of illness is irelevant, but I’ll rephrase it… so my plan is like this:

  1. base
  2. base
  3. base
  4. base
  5. build (missed for injury)
  6. build (missed half due to injury)
  7. build
  8. build
  9. speciality
  10. speciality
  11. speciality
  12. speciality

Surely that missed period can’t just be ignored by TR? Every time i do a workout, change a workout, move a workout… the AI reviews my upcoming workouts and changes them accordingly.

My question is - if a week (or even a workout) is missed due to illness/injury, will the AI consider that, and perhaps ramp up the intensity for the few days after? Maybe it could do a survey of how you feel (feature request!)
