I just reached the specialty phase and also the race season started. I am at the moment on Climbing road race specialty 1st week.
I subscribed for C races which are all on Tuesdays afternoon. Those races are pretty much individual time trials - either flat course or climbing course (e.g. pretty much sustained power - either single interval or couple of various lengths for 15-20 minutes).
The training plan planner simply put those races in for Tuesdays removing the workouts.
Obviously I do some warm up etc. which makes some TSS.
My question though is - when looking to workouts I am going to miss - whether I will not be better served by scheduling Tue workouts to Saturdays and have them extended by a bit of endurance.
What are your thoughts folks?
