TrainerRoad - Training Peaks coexistence. How is your set-up?

Long time user of Training Peaks and new to TrainerRoad. I know that the two platforms don’t interact with each other. I like using my CTL to gauge my fitness level but I like the workouts in the TR plans. How is everyone that uses both using the metrics in TrainingPeaks to plan for races and peak fitness times? Can you tell me how you incorporate the two in your daily routine?

Am I missing functions available in the calendar function in TR?

I use TP (paid version) for planning and tracking training and other data. I love TR but the only things I use the app/calendar for are to get the plan/workouts and running the workouts on my iPhone.

For planning purposes, I hand enter the TR workouts into my TP calendar - name, duration and TSS (and often cut and paste description too). I have a big monitor and if I pull both TR and TP up and split my screen, it goes pretty quick.

The new TR calendar is nice and a big step up for those who’ve never used anything else but its still a few steps behind TrainingPeaks and I’d be losing features if I switched to TR.

I’m single sport athlete, and used TP Premium for 3 years. Was focused on CTL and PMC during that time. Not missing anything with TR calendar, in fact with my travel schedule the TR calendar is easier to make adjustments. For deep-dive analysis I’m using WKO which offers stuff not in TP Premium.
