Traditonal base mid volume, Adding more rides?

Currently it is only 4 rides a week.

Anyone know if it’s worth adding in an extra endurance ride? Or is that too much?

Or is it better to be completely off the bike?

You can add rides to increase TSS as you see fit. You want to make sure you’re not taking away from the quality of your high-intensity workouts, and also not coming into scheduled training days too fatigued. I’d recommend doing a fun outdoor ride, or adding a workout like any of the Pettit variants or Volunteer depending on how you’re feeling.
