Propably until the first big mountain on stage 8. Unless the GC contenders ride really aggressive this year and try to get some seconds on every slightly hilly stage.
Maybe Ineos tries to do some stuff early on, with the many cards they have.

Need to see the time gaps, to figure out if there is a chance he could lose it from the Stage 5 time trial. So looks like he got 8 seconds + time bonus. So ~18 second lead at this point

Plus tomorrow is another Alaphilip day. Depends on how willing the GC guys are to give up seconds. Pogacar seemed eager to chase today. Roglic seemed more interested in conserving energy and focussed on neutralising Pog, rather than gain some seconds on the other GC guys. So itĀ“s possible Alaphilip gains another few seconds tomorrow.

Incredible that only 3 are out (so far - letā€™s see what tomorrow brings). Really pleased for Alaphilippe and itā€™s good for the tour that a French rider gets a stage win. Butā€¦with the time gaps I think we are now in for a really dull week until we see the mountains. I hope Iā€™m proved wrong.
