Its already on desktop. You will see the option if you click on your trainer in the decies section.
Not a bug, just a small request for those of us with clumsy fingers on iPhones.
Could the touch target in the upper left corner of the workout screen be increased in size to include more than just the tiny arrow? Itβs tricky to hit every time
I thought I was alone in hit-and-miss on that control.
Absolutely echo this! I kept thinking the app was unresponsive/ frozen!
Massively disappointing, whatβs the point in a favourite function if itβs none transferable every time you update TrainerRoad.
@pete Before I contact support, just wanted to know if my old iPhone 5c with iOS 9.something is going to be compatible with this version of the TR app. Iβve been going in circles trying to get the app working this morning. Thanks.
Hi Tony,
Unfortunately, the React Native framework that the new app utilizes does not support iOS 9 - this is out of our control. You can read more here.
I understand that you may be keeping your device on iOS 9 for valid reasons, but it does look like the iPhone 5c is able to update to iOS 10 if that is an option for you. ![]()
@trebor @rocourteau @ojtCycling
Thanks for the feedback! Iβve shared it with the team, weβll see what we can do. ![]()
Hi there!
I love so many of the new updates to the app! Iβm just having issues connecting my trainer via Bluetooth now ![]()
I have a kurt kinetic rock and roll 2 and It quickly connects to other apps but does not show up in TrainerRoad at all. I also see my wifeβs trainer within TrainerRoad as an option to connect to so I turned hers off and mine still doesnβt show up. I tried resetting for over a minute by unplugging and still nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback Geoff.
I didnβt realize the phone was already updated to 10.3.3, so if the app is supposed to work, Iβll contact support for help.
I did the ramp test today and noticed that the intensity change control is disabled. This makes sense during the ramp. However, it should be enabled during the cool down. Otherwise, the only way to increase the intensity to make a bit more intense cool down is to end the workout and start a new one. It would be a lot more convenient it the control was enabled once you accept/reject your new ftp.
Also, the intensity control that brings up the Β± buttons could be bigger. It is too small.
You could just turn the workout to resistance mode, no?
HI TR,
The individual intervals/lap summaries detailing averages etc⦠are no longer there. Are there plans to bring them back? It saves us jumping to the online web version . Cheers
Can I see the past rides somewhere and search our stays this web only?
Looks great, thanks to the team!
And I can edit swim and run workouts in the app now ![]()
Is there a way to mark them complete? ![]()
EDIT: Yes there is!

Iβve noticed that date/time pickers are not native, so therefore donβt follow my explicit date/time format preferences (i.e., I see 12hr time when my phoneβs preference is for 24hr).
Bizarrely, this behaviour is inconsistent with the TR website in Safari where the date/time picker is native, and my date/time format preferences are respected. The behaviour is also inconsistent with almost every other app on my phone.
Slight shame that users still have to pop out to the web in order to do TSS estimation based on HR for rides without a Power Meter. Otherwise a massive step forward in eliminating pain points and adding functionality.
Noticed that as well - I rarely set workout time in the calendar, but it took me a few seconds to understand those tumblers when I did. That was already like that in the iOS beta.
Congrats @Pete and team, this is huge!
Iβm curious what people see as the big improvements beyond power match. I was really disappointed to not be able to do anything I normally do with the calendar, but wonder what Iβm missing. Can you share what you see as new functionality that is awesome? Iβm hoping to hear about cool things that Iβm missing.
