Planning to complete sweet spot base 1 in mid December. I will then be on holiday without a bike for 2 weeks. Upon my return, Should I just hop straight into sweet spot base 2 with a ramp test or should I do a couple of “train now “ workouts to acclimatise to things again?
After some time of I’ll do some easy Z2 rides just to get the legs going. Two weeks isn’t that long so you won’t lose a ton of fitness. Just do the ramp test and do base 2.

And more seriously, I would do some opener workouts and then take advantage of the AT which should make up for any cob webs that could remain when restarting the SSB II
