Should I begin a new training plan (starting with base, then build, etc.) or should I keep going?

For the past 3 months I have been just selecting workouts that I think I will gain improvements from, and I have been getting slowly, but surely, faster. I was wondering if I should keep doing this, or scrap it all and start the base phase of a new training plan? I have an event in May next year that I would like to train for, and I am curious if training the way I am currently will see me hit a plateau before the event.

You’d likely find better results with a structured plan. I’d use Plan Builder.
