Rec request: I had a radical refit on my bike following a crash. The one upshot of which is a 3.5 cm forward translation of my saddle position. I managed this on my number 2 bike by going to a zero layback post. The best I can do on my aero seatposted number 1. Is 1.5 cm too short. This is even after shelling out for a stupidly expensive “reduced” lay back post from the OEM. I need an offset adapter to get the last 1.5cm. Anybody running anything like that?
Thanks. I found that one alright. Fantastic piece of engineering but not compatible with my S3.
Just to close off this for future searches. The Fair Drop UC can work with my S3 and other units. The issue is that you require M5 bolts and not the standard M6. It is a little more complicated than a straight bolt swap as there are seated nuts too. Check with Fair before ordering they will ship with the appropriate set or you can purchase it as an afters.
FWIW as a specific note on my installation: As my pitch setting bolt (front) is inverted (it uses a natty in-post, knurled, nut to set the pitch) I had to use the M6 seated nut as a washer on the M5 bolt; YMMV)
