Rubicon-2 Workout Instructions

Today, I did Rubicon-2 as an alternative to Dicks-1 because I was time-crunched. This was the last real threshold workout in my Century training plan (BWR Asheville coming up–woohoo!). I’m going in thinking 3x10 at 105% will be…unpleasant.

To my surprise, most of the workout instructions were referencing this workout being some sort of cutback week or recovery week workout! :fearful: The majority of the tips felt like cruel and unusual punishment. I ended up focusing on cadence, which was probably a good thing.

I don’t know who you people are who see Rubicon-2 as a restful activity, but I tip my hat to you!
