In the past, I know SSB plans had a button where you could right click the longer weekend SS rides with long z2 style endurance. With the new AI plans, am I supposed to delete the scheduled workout and replace it with the long endurance/AI dynamic endurance? I tried right clicking and I can’t see any options for how to do that. Sorry if this is answered somewhere, I googled it and looked up similar threads, but they’re all based on how TR used to work. Not today’s system.
I’m riding with a friend sat/sunday as I travel for work so I wanted to add those two rides to the calendar so the AI would estimate a good length and also adjust next weeks plan as needed.
I should mention, I have a low vol 3x/week plan that as the weather gets better I planned on adding a fourth ride to on an ad hoc basin. I don’t know if I had a 4 day/week plan if this button would appear (or a ‘long’ day added automatically). Apologies if that would be the case.
You can also edit the workout within the calender and change the zone and duration.
This keeps the workout as part of your plan (keeps the little calender icon) but not sure if that means that the AI treats it any differently as if you were to just delete and replace it as mentioned above.
I did that for my ride on Friday. I edited the ride from SS to an outside group ride and put 5hrs as the duration. After a short while the AI altered it to 2 hours and gave an recommended TSS and brief description of what I should do on it ie strong pulls etc.
If you will be riding unstructured with a friend then I would recommend just changing the workout to a Group Ride and letting the ride file upload.
If you want to follow a TR Endurance workout (actually follow the instructions), then you can always delete the scheduled ride and pick an Endurance AI Workout. The system will recommend a workout for you given how long you want to workout, etc… Or, change it as @kevistraining has shown.
Or, if you want to keep the same training zone for that day but a different duration or intensity, then you can pick a Workout Alternate.
From the above it sounds like you’ll be riding unstructured, so I would just change the workout to a Group Ride if you won’t be following the TR Endurance workout instructions.
