At that pacing on LEL youâd be 15.5 hours ahead of the time limit after 600km. Perhaps focus on maintaining your current fitness for now. In reality youâve likely only got another 3 weeks to productively add any more fitness gains before LEL. Itâs unlikely youâll see anything that translates into sustainable average speed gains over LEL distance.
If it helps in 2013, I only cycle commuted to work ahead of LEL. I finished just fine. I wasnât ill though.
