Yikes! For me, 250g is consumed during the first 3 hours of a long ride. On the other hand, for 2+ hour workouts assuming a good carb lunch I’ll eat 2 bananas before leaving and then a Cliff bar on the ride for 90g or 45g/hour. I’ve done long rides on 45-60g/hour, but more carbs seems better at an ftp of 250-280. I also find that front loading some carbs is best for me. FWIW.
