Intervals on the road definitely lead to some awkward moments when there are a lot of riders out. I had a huge group ride pass me the other day as high was huffing and puffing after a hard interval and trying to recover. 15 minutes later I caught them and flew by the group. Got a lot of strange looks, especially from the two up front leading the train.
