Grand¶ masters … that’s what I call myself anyway.
In the biathlon world we have (in this order) masters, master veteran, senior, senior master, veteran, and grand master. Someone must have had a lot of aquavit before coming up with that.
As far as TR communications, in the queue, or perhaps nearing the top of the queue, is the best path. “reeeeaaaally shortly,” however well intentioned, created individually-defined expectations that are time related. Learning experience.

Totally need this. My body responds best to 3:1. I love the TR workouts, but if I do SSBMV I & II back to back I’m asking for burn out. If they were 12 weeks for both but with a 3:1 I’d be all about it
Same here. Can’t do 6 weeks on. I just re-did my TR plan. I took the plan recommended by Plan Builder and took out a 5 week build that was put in as “filler” I then used these weeks as extra recovery weeks in the SSB plans and after hard C events (i.e. gravel centuries). Easy enough to do but would even easier if built into PB.
In the build phase I copy a rest week and insert it after 2 weeks of hard workouts so instead of it being 3 on 1 off, I do 2 on 1 off, so this takes my build phase from 8 weeks in duration to 9.
I think this works better for me. (there are other threads on how to insert weeks, copy rest week, …)
I have not yet tried tweaking the base phase (ssb) yet.
Yeah, I have a couple of guides posted above, for altering Base, Build and Specialty phase to include an extra recovery week.
