We’ve had a Hypervolt for a few years now. It’s helpful for getting out a knot pretty much all over your body, but not something that I feel really adds value to a day to day routine unless you have something nagging that you need to kneed out daily. For most people, I would rate it as something that’s nice to have around for when you very occasionally need it, but not any kind of must have fitness tool that would be used regularly. An example would be that my wife had a pinch in her shoulder/back recently that was really bothering her and using it when it acted up provided some relief so she could get through the work day with less pain. She just kept it in her office for a quick hit as needed.
I own this, compression boots, a foam roller, and some other old school contraptions like “the stick”, and I’d say they all can work out a knot or make you feel nice for a bit after you use them, but none of them really offer me long term value as a day to day fitness tool like mobility/stretching/yoga do.
