NEW BIKE DAY: Good flexibility/core workout for cyclists?

After 3 years of training on my Triban RC120, I’ve pulled the trigger and bought my first road bike.
A Cube Litening Air C68 SLX.

Seemed a good deal at the price I bought it.

The bike is pretty aggressive as far as I can tell. I bought a size 52 while being 174/175cm on a good day. Should have bought an endurance bike? Probably yes, but at 21 years old my ego just couldn’t.
Moreover, max 1cm spacer is possible due to the fork being chopped.

So the question: do you have any good resources on training routines I could implement to increase, as far as possible, my flexibility/core strength?

I’m quite a strong adapter, I suppose, having previously borrowed bikes from various friends of all sizes and geometry. However since this will be the bike I’ll use for the upcoming years, I want to make the most out of it.

I am 63, 78kg and ride 5-6 times a week then sit at a desk most of the day but garden, walk etc in the weekends. I find the routines from Dynamic Cyclist fantastic either stretching and mobility or Strength. Just body weight strength except the odd lightish dumbbell. Need a mat, maybe resistance bands, a block and broom handle. Dynamic Cyclist | Mobility - Strength - Injury Prevention

Foam rolling hamstrings, quads and upper back after every ride keeps me plenty flexible. Just be careful not to roll over any joints (knee mainly) as it can irritate tendons.

Enjoy the new bike!

Hitting IT bands is essential for me

Dr Eric Goodman’s Foundation training is very popular for building core strength - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BOTvaRaDjI&t=46s
