Before the TrainerRoad AI rollout, I remember there being a way to mark your planned rides as complete even if you didn’t complete the workout in TrainerRoad or there wasn’t a file uploaded for it (in my case, I did a workout on a gym spin bike where I’m not able to get a workout file from it). I no longer can see a checkbox or some other option to mark a ride as complete. Am I not looking in the right place, or is this feature no longer available?
Hey @mikeyyablong ![]()
You’d have to set it as Outside and then mark it as complete:
However, if you did not complete the workout I wouldn’t recommend doing this as it’s giving the system bad data.
Thanks so much! I did complete the workout, just on an indoor spin bike (with a power meter) that doesn’t have the ability share a file.
Just curious, if the spin bike has a power meter why not just run the TR app on your phone (with the power meter connected to the app via Bluetooth) while performing the workout?
This would bypass having the manually share a file and/or needing to use the checkbox ![]()
Good point. Honestly just didn’t think to do that cuz there would be no data associated with ride. But I’ll keep that in mind!
