Looking back for Positive Reinforcement - what works best?

It’s nice to look back with satisfaction at the volume of work put in, its consistency, the level of compliance, and other affirmations that reinforce the kind of training behaviours that we all sign up to TR for. I’m interested in what people use to do this?

There are two that work well for me, firstly at a macro level, a weekly bar chart of indoor vs outdoor. This shows whether I’ve actually been doing the structured workouts vs tootling about outside.

Since the recent colour change by TR, intervals, icu shows the dark indoor workouts more prominently.

Secondly, on an individual workout level, how nice are the shapes of the workouts? TR shows this for the recent week, but again Intervals.icu can show a great helicopter view. With a bonus colouring to show when intervals are under/over threshold, to show when I’m sharpening up for events.

Do the completionists / analytical people on the forum use some something similar or have suggestions for other views? Thanks

Feeling good about the efforts you are doing. I was looking at resting heart rate, how well I felt. I’m too old for competing, but will still try to beat someone on Zwift to the arch, or a corner, or some other ‘goal’. One ride, I was passing people in their 20’s. You do the best with what you have. shrug Might not help, but positivity has to come from within.

On TR, I look at the higher zone colors. I like red. More red is good.
