Is there an adaptive training plan for a 7 days stage race

My A race in 2022 is a 7 days stage race, Pyrenees from coast to coast.
Is there an adaptive training plan for such race

There are no specific “stage race plans”. The best thing to do is set your target even as a stage race on the calendar. Then set it’s type to be similar to the demands you expect. That and looking at the aspects of nutrition and recovery are key things to consider. Many of these are covered in various podcasts, but not necessarily integrated into any plans.

There is already. Set your event as a stage race (eg 6 days) and then choose which type of event (eg MTB Marathon) it is after that.

To simulate the demands of your race, you can start stacking your hard days back-to-back as you get nearer to your event.

I used plan builder and set to stage race MTB Marathon, it then gave me a plan that enabled me to complete a 7 day MTB stage race so I assume it works :grin:
