I’m using a very dumb trainer with a single sided power meter pedal. I’d like it just never recommend any workout that has single leg drills.
You don’t have to do the drills.
I wish I could at least turn off the on screen instructions relating to those drills.
Theres so much better things to do instead on single leg drills, they should just go away altogether. *unless you race CX cause you may actually have to single leg pedal during a race
Yeah, I don’t know if they have any real value, but at least they add some variety, even if it’s annoying variety. I try to comply with all the stupid instructions I get during workouts. TR is nothing compared to Wahoo Systm.
I too have a single sided power meter and dumb trainer. I ignore the single leg drill instructions.
You could do something else (I know, I know, it’s not part of the plan, but anyway), you could practice higher cadence pedaling, riding in the drops, or pedaling out of the saddle during the cadence drills.
I just ignore any single leg instructions & crack on. ![]()
