It went over everyone’s head because sarcasm in pure text fails more often than it succeeds. Lack of tone is massive, and the hidden fact that you and the OP are connected in any way is totally lacking.
If sarcasm in a text environment like this is to be used, clear and overly obvious flags like emojies and the /s tag are worthwhile at the very least. Otherwise it is far too easy for that approach to be misinterpreted.

RIP knobs.
Trans Am Bike Race goes through Pilot Knob and Goochville. Oh how we laughed.
ESCA 24hr route went through Upper Dicker and Lower Dicker. Oh how we laughed.
I’ve definitely got pics somewhere from the Transcontinental Race of a town called Wank (mountain) - Wikipedia Oh how we laughed.
I look forward to working my way through the new, safe workout names from Workout 1 right up to Workout 69.
