Help fix in-ride text typos; post them here 👇

Depending upon the variation, some workouts don’t have the same structure to accommodate those drills/instructions, so we just gotta build some new ones! Thanks for your patience. :sunglasses:

Should we change the title of the thread to “Help Ivy”? :slight_smile:

Not in-ride but the description on Monk says "6x4-minute repeats” but the middle two intervals are 4.5 minutes. Would also be nice if the last 28 minutes wasn’t classified as a cool down.

Smith 20 seconds in “Smith consists of 5x10 minute intervals”

I wish it was true, but it is 6x10

Chopaka +1 says the recoveries are 1 minute
Having just done this workout, I can assure all at TR they are 30 seconds.

Did you see this in the workout text maybe? Looks like the description is all set
 hmm

@IvyAudrain Your support team corrected it last night :grin: [#212106]
I was hoping they might increase the recoveries to a minute but they said Coach Chad might disagree.

PERFECT! Stoked to hear it. Chad cannot be swayed, I have tried. :laughing:

Three Sisters:
At 30:40 “you’re”, not “your”
At 45:15 “resistance” is spelled “restistance”.

EDIT 1:
Tehipite:
At 36:35, I believe “onto” should be separated as in “on to”

Mokelumne +1:
At 36:00 (just after 1st sprint) the text says “next 8 minutes” but there are 20 minutes between sprints.

EDIT2:
Totten Key: Not a typo, but 2 QOL improvements in the workout itself.

  1. The 1st 56% interval seems to be divided in 2 parts and the countdown sound ticks during it, despite everything staying the same;
  2. The countdown sound doesn’t go off for the ramp up to the 2nd 56% interval, only for the end of the ramp-up.

EDIT3:
Mills -4:
At 11:45: “adbomen” instead of “abdomen”
At 30:40 “systems kicks” so either “system kicks” or “systems kick”.

EDIT4:
I believe I mentioned this before, but Freel and Freel+1 are the same workout, despite Freel+1 description stating that this workout has an extended cooldown.

Mills +1:
at 18.55: Ergo mode, I believe ERG would be better;
3735: “adbomed” instead of “abdomen”.

EDIT 5:
At 19:55 “ergo” mode should maybe be “ERG” mode for consistency;
At 37:22 “you level” should be “your level”
At 54:10 “systems kicks” so either “system kicks” or “systems kick”
At 1:02:35 it says “for the 45 seconds” but it should be “75 seconds” since intervals are 1:15 minutes long

Bashful -2
After 4th last interval (approx 8min mark) it makes a comment about 2 minute rests between intervals when this workout only has 1 minute rests

This is in the workout description (not the in-ride text), but for Lesser Wedge it is described as: > Description

Lesser Wedge is 5x4.5-minute sets of VO2max repeats where you’ll ride for 15-25 seconds at 127% FTP and then ‘float’ for 15-30 seconds at 88% FTP.

However, the intervals are actually 25 secs hard, 25 secs float.

Typo in blog post about sweet spot: Sweet Spot Intervals: How to Execute Them - TrainerRoad Blog Article refers to ‘Eichorn’, then in the next para, misspells it as ‘Wichorn’ See below
 in italics

Blockquote Eichorn is a classic example of 2×20-minute Sweet Spot intervals. However, twenty minutes at this intensity is difficult, especially for someone just starting. By learning to endure long stretches at this power output, you can count on having the endurance necessary to hang on during a long, fast group ride, climb a fire road at a moderately high yet steady pace, or even spend greater durations in your aero or climbing positions without sacrificing power output.

Instead of long twenty-minute intervals like Wichorn, Wrynose offers more rest by breaking the intervals into three-minute efforts.

In “Carson -3” the text intro to the 2nd interval (around 14:30) says “first interval”.

Hubbard - description of workout “Hubbardis” should read “Hubbard is” (i.e. missing space)

Baird-3: after the first set of intervals the text states: " we’ll be back in around five minutes in time for the next set" but the rest is only three minutes long!

Inspiration is 4x3.75-minute intervals at 106% FTP. Each full interval is spearated by a 11 minute and 45 second recovery valley.

It’s not. It’s 2x 3:75 min and 2x 3.5 min.

At the 53:55 mark the text mentions working for 80 minutes
 the workout is only 60 minutes :slight_smile:

Raymond +4:
13:30 “time to do some work” but you’re already 1 minute into an interval
32:30 something regarding “late in the workout” but you’re only halfway through
39 minutes - again something about “nearly done” but you still have 4 intervals to go;

overall, the text is very weird, there are 10-15 second spaces between text lines which makes it kind of tough to read

monitor +5
in the workout description it says follow the on screen text
 but then says it does NOT have workout instructions
