In Palisade at 1:01:41 - “So you can do MORE work but you’re time is limited” should be:

“So you can do MORE work but your time is limited”

This is also at 46:41 in Palisade-1 and 31:41 in Palisade-2

Mary Austin -1 OUTSIDE. Text says:
2 sets of the following, with 1 minute rest between:

  • 6 minutes starting at 198 and ending at 219.
  • 4 minutes bringing it back down to 198.

But actual workout is 2 minute laps on the same profile as the indoor version - not 6/4 minutes.

Hey everything looks right here to me, where each ‘step’ is 2 minutes, 6 spent going up and 4 back down:

2 minutes 92%. ]
2 minutes 98%. ] 6 Minutes
2 minutes 102%. ]

2 minutes 98%. } 4 Minutes
2 minutes 92%. }

Let me know if that’s not right, I think the confusion may be in those 2-minute ‘steps’ that equate to laps. Cheers!

Ivy - thanks - yes the workout itself was correct with the 2 minute steps. I was happy to see that. My point was that the outside description wording led me to believe it would contain a 6 minute ascending lap and a 4 minute descending lap. For some outdoor workouts it works like that - where the lap profiles don’t align with the indoor workout profile. My suggestion it to update the workout description on the website to clarify the 2 minute laps. For outdoor workouts the descriptions are more important than indoor, as it sets the mindset of what to expect, since there is no picture.

Oh sure, I think the “6 minutes starting at ‘x’ and ending at ‘x’. and the '4 minutes bringing it back down to ‘x’” speaks to the ‘steps’ nature of the intervals and that it gradually changes, but I definitely hear you that it isn’t exactly clear in the description how long those steps will be. I’ll pass along to the team for review! Thanks!

Picket guard +2: at rougly 41 minutes, it says something like “we will start at 30 minutes” (riding out of the saddle), while already 41 mins into the workout;
at rougly 1:42, it says “cadenc” instead of cadence.
Maybe there are more, I spent most of the time looking away from the screen, cursing and yelling

LOL we all suffer from mid-workout hallucinations from time to time. Thanks for the heads up on that edit, though! Fixed. :v:

 Not really hallucinations, I was unfortunately very aware of everyting that was going on. The workout was just very though, probably due to the workouts I did at the start of the week and due to the fact that everything above sweet spot is a big limiter for me.

I am thinking this Run VO2Max Text description for week 2 of Olympic Triathlon Mid volume Build has a typo

I am thinking it should be 16 intervals not 6
15 Warm-up + 16 Intervals + 10 Warm down = 41 minutes

Thanks for the heads up, we’re working on fixing this! :v:

not quite an in-ride typo, but the description for Galena says
“Additionally, you have the option of targeting specific aspects of climbing form, time trialing, speed endurance, and aerodynamic positioning.”

however none of that is prompted during the ride

I don’t know if it’s truly a typo, but in Tunnabora -4, at around 7:30, the text says Ergo mode instead of Erg mode.

Not really a typo, but in the middle of Washington-1 and there’s various cadence drills. First at 60rpm, second at 80rpm.

Would be nice if it told you the target cadence before the interval starting rather than having to force into the spin and then slow down

McAdie -1 @ 21:00:

Halfway through, stay tough after each “over” segment

It’s actually 1/3 of the way, not 1/2.

This isn’t in-ride, but on the workout page.
There is no calories input at the Beacon workout.

The description for Electra says 3X10 @90% FTP but the actual workout is at 82/84/86%.

After the first interval in Ericsson -4 Chad tells you to clip both your feet in. The ILT portion of Ericsson isnt in the -4 version.

Perkins -1 at 1:45:00

Sit nice & tall as you raise your power slightly

except the power drops to basically the minimum seen in the workout. Probably meant to say raise your cadence slightly, but could go lots of other directions, eg “as you recover slightly”.

Corcoran + 2 and Tunnabora - 4 also do not have KJ in their description.
