I have been playing around with plan builder as I try to decide what events I want to do next year. I am considering a 70.3 Tri. When I get TrainerRoad to build me a plan it programs 6 days a week even on low volume. I don’t mind the volume I just want to to give me a program with 2 days off, is this possible?
Because of the nature of a tri plan (3 disciplines) the recommended days are spread out over 6 days. However, when you get to the Training Schedule tab of building your plan, you can manually drag and drop the activities you’d like to complete on certain days to allow you two full rest days.

I was hoping to have it do it for me so I don’t over think which workout to move to which day haha.
@Caro.Gomez-Villafane : hi! It doesn’t look like the option exists, when building a tri plan, to click settings and adjust the number of training days, etc.

That’s right, the amount of days is fixed on tri plans depending on whether your doing a Low-Mid or High Volume because of the way all run, swim and bike workouts are connected with each other. What you can do is drag and drop to what days you’d like to complete them.
