Gut Health book Recommendations

Anyone know any good books regarding maintaining a healthy gut biome? I’d like to learn more, but I would like book referrals from folks way smarter than me on the subject.

I can highly recommend some podcasts on the subject by Dr Tom Hughes. The podcasts are excellent covering a lot about nutrition and health as well as training.
He had a set of about 3 podcasts which covered gut biome

Or wherever you choose to buy it from. That’s the best I’ve ever read when it comes to diets and gut health.

The Good Gut (available on Amazon). I learned tons from that book. If you looking for a good probiotic, google VSL#3. They ship it to you frozen.
The Mircobiome Solution is also good.

Next on my reading list is a book called the Mind-Gut Connection.

Great recommendations! Thanks!

If that book is able to answer the question of how your sphincter knows when you’re exactly 5 blocks away from home, let me know :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Fiber Fueled by Will Bulsiewicz

I studied this for a while. In the end, the short answer is eat healthy. Eat a variety of plants, eat colorful foods, and lots of fiber. Don’t eat junk food.

That’s it.

Any kind of testing of your bacteria ratios is absolutely a waste of money and not actionable.
