Favourite post ride meal?

like the title suggests: what is your favourite post-ride meal?

Easy!

Poached eggs on toast with smoked salmon and variaty of other small bits.

A big cup of coffee helps to seal the deal.

Oads with soyamilk

Risotto.

Probably my favourite meal at every other time too.

If it’s a long ride finishing at lunchtime, Indian takeaway is great. Second best would be paella.

Finishing a shorter mid-week training ride: give me some salmon poke. I guess rice does it for me…

Training session I just want cereal and fruit normally but race a want a dirty burger and chips

Oats, cereal, rice pudding

Cereal is one of my top five meals, I could eat a box a day no danger. Same as hot buttered toast. Food of the gods

Easily in my top 5 meals, I eat it daily.

Hot buttered toast, with salt and pepper!!

After a really hard day on the bike: pizza.

If morning ride, favorite lunch is roasted sourdough with miso fried mushrooms + eggs on top.

Max 45 minutes start to finish, but I wouldn’t be eating it immediately after the ride anyway.

I can’t usually eat “a meal” straight after a ride. Toast or cereal or chocolate milk, sure, but you can’t call that stuff a meal.

A burger, onion rings, and if it was really hot out - a beer

Pizza or/and potato chips and ice cream for dessert. :upside_down_face:

Most of the time it’s something else and it can be everything. Carbs, protein, veggies… Healthy stuff.
