Estimating TSS for non-cycling workouts

I asked this elsewhere but didn’t get an answer, so I’m asking again here.

I’m a triathlete and I want the AI training simulation to take into account my other workouts (I use different software for my swims and runs). My questions:

  1. Should I add planned runs/swims with estimated TSS to my upcoming calendar?

  2. Should I estimate the TSS for runs/swims I’ve done previously? This is pretty easy for me to do accurately, as I can just borrow the TSS estimates from my TrainingPeaks.

I can’t answer the TR specific questions, but when you add a run, there is a dropdown menu for RPE that will generate estimated TSS. What I do here is go to TP and see what TSS they assigned the run, and then set the TR RPE to be closest to that TP number. TR almost always estimates far lower if I pick my real RPE.
