A lot of us do training efforts on hills/mountains that can be as much as 1,000m above our home elevation. This can have a significant impact on power output. It would make sense to me that TR could maintain a parallel power file that is scaled (based on well known elevation/power studies) to adjust the power to an equivalent home elevation power.
Logically, wouldn’t using this power file rather than the raw file would increase the accuracy of AI FTP detection and the upcoming outside ride progression level detection feature?
Also, shouldn’t outside workout power targets reflect the elevation of the head unit relative to the user’s home elevation.
I’m sure these features are not trivial to implement, but TR could pioneer this improvement.
