Out of curiosity, why is the color scheme on the iPhone app different from the iPad app? iPhone has red and blue scheme for buttons and highlights, iPad has red and green.
This is a weird one that we’re aware of. It only happens if your phone is “flat” (e.g. on a table, attached to your handlebars, etc.) when starting a workout. As you noted, it will resolve itself if you perform certain actions or if you change the physical angle of your phone. We hope to have a fix soon.
Just notice the replace feature when looking at variants. Awesome. What a great idea to implement. Super easy to use to switch from a +1 to the normal workout.
I noticed this feature too; replacing the current workout with a variation. Very handy! Perhaps shortcut buttons can be added for shorter/longer and easier/harder.
Did a workout on Tuesday using the latest iOS build on my iPhone 8. Here’s my latest observations:
- Issues with device sleeping during workout have been remedied
- ‘go back’ arrow after workout or when viewing devices seems really unresponsive, and takes multiple attempts to activate
- had an issue, with the app refreshing the workouts after a change on the web. I ended up starting the incorrect workout, as the app hadn’t refreshed, despite hitting the ‘refresh’ arrow, which was also very unresponsive. I had to restart the app to force it to update
Love that you added multitasking support for iPad, thanks!
Workout hidden behind keyboard when searching. Not able to hide keyboard while search field is open
Example west widette on iPhoneX
Sorry for not checking if it’s been reported yet but interval summary text is sized all wrong and on top of each other…
Yesterday, on Wednesday, while saving my workout “Whorl”, the app crashed and sent a crash report to TR. I presume you have received it. The workout did save successfully as I saw it completed after I relaunched the app. Nice to get credit for it
.
same remark!
Found a bug? Maybe it’s working as intended? Just switched to new phone and all my favorite workouts are gone. Seems like they should be account level and not specific to a device.
Noob question for a user who’s new with beta testing: I would like to keep the current install on my ipad, but the only option given is to replace the current install. Am I doing something wrong? I’m also beta testing a streaming service and that one gave me a second app so it seems to be possible in some cases.
When using the app in split mode the interval time and total time is not scaled correctly and it is displayed on two lines.
This happens to me as well. I flip from portrait to landscape and back and it fixes itself.

End time is wrong. I will retest soon but I was going to finish at 5:57.
I think it has been noted that the favorites (at least on the old iOS app specifically) were device-side saved. I agree with you and hope this gets fixed (stored account level, cloud side) at some point as I often switch between an iPhone, an iPad and occasionally a PC.
I should had noted better - this was running beta on both old and new phones. I knew about losing favorites moving to new app from old. But I would have thought that beta to beta would have saved them.
Would you be able to share what time zone are you in, and what time of day were you doing this workout? ![]()
Favorites are device specific, unfortunately. I’ll pass along the feedback.
I had some weird power dropouts in the last interval of my workout.
No changes in my setup

My Assioma pedals were not low battery. Minor dropouts earlier in the workout, but last interval was really bad
