Been using TR for a while. Just started trialing Zwift and have been doing my TR routine (FTP increase in build phase) on Zwift. But I don’t think I have got any TR adaptation recommendations after my rides since doing this. I used to get adaptation recs after the majority of TR rides when just using TR. Now that I am doing them in Zwift I haven’t seen an adaptation. Why is this? Could this be why TR gave me Guyat every single Wednesday these past three weeks in this phase? When you complete your workouts in Zwift, we’ll automatically adapt your plan in TR.
This is because many of our athletes will get through an entire week of TR training in Zwift without looking at their TR calendar.
Let me know if this helps!
So I understand this properly, when doing TR in Zwift, the post-workout adaptations are AUTOMATICALLY accepted?
If so - why can’t we keep the option to Skip Adaptations?
and
Why can’t we at least see the change in adaptation (what it went from and to)?
I don’t believe this is correct. I do all of my TR workouts in Zwift and never get automatic adaptations (which is the expected behavior, as I have automatically accept adaptations turned off in TR).
Same. I have auto accept OFF on mine too
Yes. We, by default, set your adaptations to be automatically accepted when you connect Zwift to TR.
As you can see below, you’ve been getting auto-accepted adaptations since October 19th.
Also, you have auto-accept adaptations turned on currently.
I’d log in online and switch that off to see if that helps.
@NigelTufnel11, yours is set to off, which is why things are working that way for you. ![]()
Aha! I think that is it. Thank you. There was no notification that Zwift integration automatically made that change. thank you for pointing that out. Maybe TR or Zwift can let customers know that the integration makes that change? I like looking at my recommended adaptations and choosing. Thanks for the help!
No problem!
I’ll pass along your feedback to the team.
Let me know how things go moving forward. I’d always be here to help! ![]()
