Deals / Sales / Discounts for Fitness Stuff (2025)

For some insight on my current experience with Nextie:

Don’t know where you live, but around me, it is a sellers market in regards to used bikes. I’ve seen red/force spec’d bikes with carbon wheels go for the 3-4k range. May want to check you local listings first.

And on another note… there’s some good deals out there for new bikes. Haven’t seen gravel but Cambria bikes has Santa Cruz MTB on sale right now. Saw a size small Bronson with 50% off.

The Lauf Outlet on Seigla’s for a good price. Hardly used.

I bought a Seigla in early October, and am loving it. The price point for the Red XPLR version was too good to pass up.

3T Exploro Pro RivalX11 Bike | Jenson USA
Clearance is stated at 54mm and at that price you can make some major upgrades. I don’t know what your other must haves features are but this is a pretty good looking deal to me.

I don’t know how the Seigla Ultimate is only $6,290. A SRAM Red 13 speed groupset with power meter crank is already $4k. The frameset is $2,290. The included carbon wheels seem decent as well.

The flaw in your assessment is that you are assuming equal margins for all the options listed (as well as equal pricing between a distributor and an OEM customer).

I can assure you that they are not. There are a number of variables at play and you mix / match and adjust pricing, margin, etc. until you hit your desired outcome (whatever that may be).

Oh, yes. To build that bike from components at retail prices would be stupid expensive. OEM prices are nothing like consumer prices. And every vendor is a separate negotiation. I expect Lauf’s margins are razor thin, and they made some screamin’ good deals with component manufacturers.

Yeah, I assume relatively thin, as well…but being D2C, they may not be as thin as we might suspect. :man_shrugging:

I wanted to post them somewhere because I thought it was hilarious. It’s not a deal. Seller is delusional thinking his ancient low end road bike is worth $250.

It must be a John Howard collectible!

Saddle looks super comfy.

exploro pro is only 42 unless you run 650 i thought

You might be right, I didn’t look that closely at the details.

Just a heads up to everyone - I just had UPS hold my Lordgun package today due to fees needing to be paid.

It was for (1) SMP saddle and (2) GP5000 tires with a total of $413.16 shipped. UPS held the package for a owed balance or fee of $34.48. The breakdown when I paid it was $20 government and $14.48 brokerage. Keep in mind this entire order was shipped from Italy.

Its coming Guys and Gals…

Ugh… this sucks!!! I have wheels shipping soon from BTLOS!

:frowning:

Are you saying this is some new fee that was added recently?

Where are you located?
I’m surprised that there would be new tariffs or import fees from the EU to the US. So far nothing has been announced.
The only new tariffs that are in place since last week are for shipment from China.

Be ready for at least 10% import fee.

I believe the De Minimus was removed making all imports subject to any tariffs. So, things that used to squeak under the bar now get hit.

“Brokerage??” Is this Canada?
